Religious Services

There is no single reserved day for a Sikh to worship. A Sikh should meditate on the name of God (Naam Japna ) everyday and whenever possible visit a Gurdwara. The main day for Sikhs to go to the Gurdwara for worship in Britain is Sunday.

As well as the normal daily services, the Guru Gobind Singh Ji Gurdwara is used to host Sikh marriages, Akhand Paaths, Sehj Paaths and Sukhmani Sahib Paaths. Additionally, langar (which is the communal meal) is provided in the Langar Hall.

If you wish to book the Gurdwara for either an Anand Karaj (Sikh marriage), Akhand Paath, Sehj Paath or a Sukhmani Sahib Paath, please contact:
